Hedgesville Learning Center virtual walkthrough

For Berkeley County Schools, the Hedgesville Learning Center is state-of-the-art educational building that will house Berkeley County’s newest Pre-K students.
This is a 28,813 square foot Pre-Kindergarten that includes 8 Classrooms with adjacent Itinerant rooms, Breakout areas and a Motor Skills room. A future 7,100 square foot addition of 4 Classrooms with adjacent Itinerant rooms and Breakout areas will complete the “U” shaped floor plan containing the outdoor Playground within a courtyard.
The courtyard will be secured with a wall or fence at the rear of the building.
The Motor Skills room is a high-bay space with natural daylighting and will be utilized for an indoor play area during inclement weather.
The main entrance will have separate visitor and student vestibules adjacent to the Administration office.
The Nurse’s office, Faculty and Resource rooms will be next to the main office. A Conference room will also be adjacent to the main entrance.
A Groundbreaking Ceremony for this project was held on October 9th, and construction is expected to be completed by December 2025.
